Refund policy
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
Faulty, damaged or not as described
If something arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, or develops a fault it shouldn’t, email info@thefoliageedit.com.au with your order number, a description of the problem and photos.
- For a major problem, you choose a refund or a replacement.
- For a minor problem, we’ll repair or replace it, or refund you if that isn’t possible.
- We’ll cover the cost of returning a faulty item.
5-year warranty on green wall panels
Our artificial green wall panels come with a 5-year warranty against fading and cracking from UV exposure. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Covered: fading or cracking caused by UV exposure under normal use, within 5 years of purchase.
- Not covered: damage from accidents, misuse, improper installation, cutting or trimming that damages the panel structure, fire, chemicals, or pressure washing.
- How to claim: email info@thefoliageedit.com.au with your proof of purchase, photos of the affected panels and where they’re installed. If your claim is accepted, we’ll replace the affected panels at no cost to you. If your claim involves costs such as postage, we’ll let you know before you incur them.

Change of mind
Not quite right for your space? We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, as long as:
- the item is unused and in its original condition and packaging
- you have your order number or proof of purchase
- you cover the cost of return postage. Original shipping costs aren’t refundable.
We can’t accept change-of-mind returns on:
- sale items
- custom or made-to-order pieces
- green wall panels that have been cut, trimmed or installed
- items installed by us
This doesn’t affect your rights if an item is faulty.

For items over $75, we recommend a tracked service, because we can’t refund items that don’t make it back to us.
Refunds
Once your return arrives and we’ve checked it, we’ll email you to confirm. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
Gifts
If you received an item as a gift, we can offer store credit for a change-of-mind return. If the gift is faulty, you have the same rights as the buyer.
Installation services
Our installations come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that the work is done with due care and skill, and within a reasonable time. If something isn’t right with an installation, call us on 03 9123 4271 and we’ll make it right.
